What a Wonderful BHOS Weekend!

What a fun weekend! I just love the Bolton Harvard Open Studios weekend each year! It’s such a fun time of year with all the gorgeous leaves changing colors, the apple picking and Fall weather. And then top it off with people stopping by to visit me in my art studio, buy my art, chat about creativity and just meeting new and friendly faces. It is always such a wonderful weekend!

Saturday was definitely busier than Sunday, which was sort of unexpected since the Harvard Flea Market was happening simultaneously. I wasn’t quite sure whether or not there would be visitors on Saturday because of the flea market but was pleasantly surprised to have such a good amount of traffic in the door. The very first customer of the day sure was amazing. She introduced herself and then proceeded to buy out a large amount of my pieces! I couldn’t believe it! What a special visit! She was so supportive and encouraging and I was just speechless! So so thankful for her and her purchases!

Sunday wasn’t very busy at all, but who minded because I was able to catch my kid’s softball game in the morning and be home in time (just a tiny bit late) to open up and paint while I waited for anyone that might stop by. Well, someone stopped by alright! In fact, it was a couple I had never met before but knew of and was tickled that they stopped by to visit and chat. We had a lovely time reminiscing about old Littleton lore and everything that has changed throughout the years. Nice to meet someone that calls the old businesses by the old business names! SanVel will always be SanVel!

I’ll be looking forward to a quiet week ahead as I paint and create more items for my shop (both in person and online). Plus plan new art classes in 2025!
