Watercolor Landscapes from In Studio Class Last Night

What a great evening yesterday as we painted these joyful and colorful landscapes in our watercolor in-studio class!

So many laughs, snacks, stories and splashes of color during our time together made for an incredibly fun and festive time in the Glimmerbug Art Studio last night. We worked on foreground and background, masking, blotting and lifting and color management. It was so much fun to watch the ladies create two totally different paintings based off of the example and lesson. I love seeing how different interpretations happen!

As we worked on our paintings, we discussed how fun it would be to do a series of similar paintings to this but using the variant of seasons to change up the outcome. I think that would be such a fun exercise to work on!
