The Doors Are OPEN!!

Happy Friday! Today is the day that I’ve been waiting for!

I’m so excited to share that The Creative Art Village membership is now OPEN for registration! This is so exciting!

For quite some time I’ve been wanting to put together something like this. But the time has never seemed right. But now that my kids are a bit older and my crazy days don’t start until 3PM when I turn from artist to taxi driver, it seemed like the time was optimal to begin this venture. I’ve put a lot of thought and planning into this membership group and I cannot wait for you to join!

To me, art should be fun and not stressful. It should make you feel happy and rewarded as you create whatever it is that you are working on. When students come to my studio class, they seem to always have the same take-away: “I’m not afraid of making a mistake anymore.” And that’s how art should make everyone feel. I don’t call them “mistakes” when I’m creating. I call them “happy accidents” and explain that when something doesn’t go exactly to plan, that you need to just go with it and work around whatever the issue is. Everything is fixable! And… it’s only paper.

Now that the membership is live and ready for you to register, I hope you really consider joining. I promise it will be fun, creative, colorful and encouraging.
