Show and Share: Whimsical Watercolors 3

Last night was our weekly Whimsical Watercolor 3 Private Class. This one on one class with me and my student is relaxing, fun, inspiring and creative. Each week we work on a different project and set goals for watercolor practice throughout the week, with joyful “homework” assignments.

Because we are working on building a watercolor journal, we use the “homework” assignment sample that I make during the week part of our Show and Share at the beginning of class. And I’m always so blown away by Mel and her continuous creativity. She really takes the assignment and runs with it, making it her own and developing it into her own style. It’s such a fabulous process to watch because her growth has been so extensive over the last year that we’ve worked together in class.

I’m so proud of her growth as an artist! And I can’t wait to see how gorgeous this watercolor journal turns out at the end of our 10 weeks together!
