Another smashing good time with my new watercolor class last evening while we continued our work using various household items to create interesting textures. We worked on a landscape that featured these different textures and the results are AMAZING! These folks really grasped the concepts and created gorgeous and unique landscapes while pushing themselves to experiment with different color combinations. We used various household items such as salt, isopropyl alcohol, wax, bubble wrap, plastic wrap and several more materials to create dazzling effects.

During our class we all chatted about different things we enjoy doing, hobbies, families and interesting stories. I just enjoy getting to learn to much about these art students to take my classes and we always end up having a grand time together (at least I do!) My students are always so interesting and have such fabulous stories to share!
