Field Hockey Appetizer Charcuterie
Yesterday my oldest kiddo had a little get together with her field hockey buddies at one of the player’s houses. She always looks forward to this little event each year and it’s pretty nice that they have kept the tradition going. The season is wrapping up and these kids have worked and played hard both on and off the field. So they deserve a little celebration for their efforts!
She asked me to help her make a charcuterie board so she could bring it to the get together. Of course! We looked through our cards of ideas from The Cheese Board Deck that I purchased from Amazon and she selected the one she wanted to use.
And so we got started. She wanted to put the whole thing together and I think she did a marvelous job! Very eye catching! And filled with delicious cheeses, fruits, crackers and nuts. We had to make a few alterations from the original recipe and ingredients that were used (I couldn’t find quince paste to save my life). All in all, though, it turned out beautifully!
What was left over afterwards ended up headed to school for lunches so we’ve got nothing left of the cheese board. Definitely want to make more!
